TERMS & CONDITIONS
BUSINESS HOURS: BFD Off Road Products has
normal business hours of Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM
to 4:00PM Pacific Standard Time.
PRICES: All prices shown are subject to
change without prior written or verbal notice. All orders
are charged and processed at prices in effect at the time
of shipment. BFD Off Road Products is not responsible for
any incorrectly printed product descriptions, part numbers,
or prices.
ORDERS: Please allow 24-72 hours to process
all orders from time of receipt. Sorry but we do not ship
orders internationally.
PAYMENT TERMS: Standard Terms for online
purchases are by Pre-approved credit card only. BFD Off Road
Products accepts VISA and MasterCard. Personal checks cannot
be accepted under any circumstances. We do not offer C.O.D.
delivery for retail customers. BFD Off Road Products will
not charge the customers' credit card until the order is shipped,
unless it is a special order. All goods purchased with a credit
card can only be shipped to the address on record of the cardholder.
That is, the ship-to address must be the SAME ADDRESS as where
the credit card bills are received by the cardholder. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Also, the order cannot be shipped unless we obtain an exact
match for the AVS security code on the back of your card.
This is to protect you, the cardholder from fraudulent use
of your credit card number.
BACK ORDERS: We try to keep stock as well
as possible to avoid back orders. but if it occurs, we will
take your order and then contact you as soon as the product
becomes available again.
SPECIAL ORDERS: Unfortunately special orders
are not returnable for refund. Please make sure that you are
certain that your special order is the correct merchandise.
BFD Off Road Products accepts no responsibility for ordering
the wrong parts.
SHIPPING METHOD: All orders are shipped
via UPS. The standard shipping method is Ground Service to
the lower 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii residents must select
either 2nd Day or Overnight UPS delivery. Other delivery services
are available lower 48 state residents only upon request for
additional costs but must be approved by BFD Off Road Products.
The other UPS options are as follows: Orange (3 Day), Blue
(2 Day) and Red (Overnight/1 Day). We do not offer C.O.D.
delivery for retail customers. If you require your order to
be shipped with special services such as United States Parcel
Service, additional charges will apply. Customers who refuse
delivery of an order will be held responsible for return freight
to BFD Off Road Products and also for the original freight
to get it to you. Sorry but we do not ship orders internationally.
CANCELLATIONS: Special ordered merchandise
cannot be cancelled and must be paid for in advance. Cancellation
of standard item orders must be received prior to the shipment
of goods. BFD Off Road Products cannot cancel an order once
it has been shipped. If the order has been shipped and you
still wish to cancel the order, you must wait for the merchandise
to arrive and then follow the instructions for a return as
given below. Customers who refuse delivery of an order will
be held responsible for return freight to BFD Off Road Products
and also for the original freight to get it to you.
RETURNS & CLAIMS: Any requests for
the return of goods purchased from BFD must be made within
10 days of receipt of goods. No returns will be accepted after
10 days. Prior to any return shipment, call BFD for a Return
Authorization Number (RA#) that will be issued over the phone.
Returned goods must be in NEW and UNUSED condition and in
the original packaging. If the merchandise has been installed,
then you have bought it and it cannot be returned. Merchandise
can only be returned by the party, that originally purchased
it from BFD Off Road Products. If the merchandise is being
returned because of a shipping or packing error made by BFD,
then we will reimburse the buyer for the actual return UPS
Ground shipping expense only. BFD Off Road Products cannot
issue call tags. All approved returns are subject to a 25%
restocking charge plus the original cost to ship the goods
to you. Refunds will only be for credit towards future purchases
from BFD Off Road Products. There are NO CASH REFUNDS.
FREIGHT CLAIMS: All merchandise should
be thoroughly inspected by the customer upon receipt. If any
shipping damage is found, it is the customer's responsibility
to file a claim with the carrier. All claims to the carrier
must be made within three (3) days of receipt of goods, supported
by the date on the invoice. This policy is enforced by UPS.
WARRANTY: All of the items sold by BFD
are intended for off road use only and are not street legal,
DOT approved, or EPA approved. Any of the items sold in our
catalog could possibly void the manufacturer's warranty. BFD
warrants its products to be free from any manufacturing defects
at the time of delivery, but makes no other warranty claims.
LIABILITY: The acceptance and/or use of
any merchandise purchased from BFD Off Road Products by the
customer hereby shall release BFD Off Road Products from any
and all liability pertaining to the use of such merchandise.
The customer understands that any alteration or modification
to any off road vehicle or motorcycle may increase the risk
of injury, accident, or death, and may also render the off
road vehicle or motorcycle illegal for use on public roads.
